NASS-Supported Prior Authorization Bill Reintroduced in Congress

May 13, 2021 - The National Association of Spine Specialists (NASS) pledged its support for H.R. 3173, the Improving Seniors' Timely Access to Care Act of 2021, bipartisan legislation that would protect Medicare Advantage patients from the cumbersome prior authorization processes that needlessly delay or deny access to medically necessary care.

This critical legislation was reintroduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Reps. Suzan Delbene (D-WA), Mike Kelly, (R-PA), Ami Bera, MD (D-CA), and Larry Bucshon, MD (R-IN).
